Refunds & Cancellation

01How to cancel

Cancel at any time from the billing view in the application, or by emailing us. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

02What cancelling does

Cancelling means one thing: the subscription stops auto-renewing. Every entitlement is honoured to the end of the period you have already paid for, and there is no mid-cycle termination.

At the end of that period the workspace is locked rather than moved to the Free tier. Its data stays where it is and can still be viewed until its retention window passes, but no new scans can be started until a plan is chosen again.

Downgrades are not self-serve: email support@pixyscan.com to move to a lower tier, and the change takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

03Refunds

A purchased period runs to its end and the payment for it is final. We do not refund unused time on a cancelled subscription, and we do not refund unused URL credits.

This is why there is a Free tier. It covers one site and 500 URLs a month and runs 181 of the 202 checks, so the product can be evaluated properly before any money changes hands.

04When we do refund

We will refund, in full or in part, where any of the following applies:

• You were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after cancelling.
• A fault on our side made the service substantially unusable for a significant part of a billing period and we could not fix it.
• The law where you live gives you a right to a refund that these terms cannot displace. Statutory rights are not affected by anything on this page.

05How to ask

Email support@pixyscan.com with the account email address and what happened. We will respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.

06Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, contacting us is faster than raising a chargeback and we would rather fix it. Accounts with an open chargeback may be suspended until it is resolved.
