We got tired of finding February's bug in June
PixyScan exists because of a specific, boring failure: a release drops a canonical, nothing breaks, traffic decays for a quarter, and by the time anyone connects the two the release is forty commits back.
Why another one of these
There are a hundred SEO auditors. Almost all of them do the same thing: crawl a site, produce a list, and leave you to work out which of the two hundred findings are new. That list is the same list next quarter, which is why nobody opens the second one.
We did not want another auditor. We wanted a smoke detector - something that watches a site you already have and tells you the day something changed. So the product was built around a diff rather than around a report, every scan records the branch it measured, and the screen the whole thing points at is the one with three columns on it: new, resolved, still open.
That decision is also why the catalogue is not only SEO. Two of the ten disciplines - Delivery & Trust, which is certificates, security headers and page weight, and Content & Answers, which is readability and answer-engine readiness - are not SEO in any conventional sense. They are there because they break the same way, on the same deploys, and nobody was watching them either.
How we work
Four rules, each one checkable on this site
Not values. Rules with a link beside them, so you can go and confirm we kept them rather than take our word for it.

Say what it does not do
Every feature page on this site carries a box listing what that capability specifically does not do, in the same type size as what it does. Two of the ten FAQ answers are, in substance, “no”. That is not modesty - it is the cheapest way to not be found out in week two.

Publish the arithmetic
The health score's weights, its presence share, the small-sample smoothing and the reach bands are all written out on this site, with a worked example. A composite score whose formula is hidden is a number you cannot argue with, which is the same as a number you cannot trust.

No screenshot is a mock-up
Every still on this site was captured by an automated test driving the real product against real data. When a screen changes, the test is re-run and the site is honest again. There is no design file anywhere in this pipeline.

Report, do not moralise
The AI bot matrix tells you which crawlers your robots.txt admits and stops there. The five per-bot findings that used to raise issues were retired, because which AI crawlers a site lets in is the site's decision and not a defect we get to grade.

The company
Kiara TechX LLP
PixyScan is a product of Kiara TechX LLP. We are a small team in Ahmedabad, India, and there is no support tier - whoever answers your email can usually open the code that caused whatever you are asking about.
Customer data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We hold no SOC 2 or ISO certification, and we would rather say so plainly than imply one is in progress.
